Mushrooms For Gut Health with Anna Marija Helt, PhD
What happens in the gut can influence everything - from mood, to energy levels, to immune, heart, joint, and reproductive health. And, it's not imagined: it's microbiology and biochemistry. By "gut", Marija refers collectively to the stomach, small intestine, and large intestine. Eating (cooked) mushrooms regularly has a lot to offer in supporting gut health. We'll be talking about the three mushrooms Marija most often uses in stronger form for supporting a happy gut, while nerding out on what influence certain mushroom components might have on the gut.
